We met up with our friends Carolyn and her son Jake to pick some strawberries. Parker was excited, we talked about how strawberries grew near the ground and he would bend down to pick then. Unlike his apple picking experience.

Carolyn and Jake..he wanted nothing to do with the strawberries. When Parker heard there were blueberries he was thrilled, sadly they are not ready until later in the summer so we will go back.
He did cry himself to sleep in the car because he did not get any of the fudge we bought in the farm shop. As if eating fudge in the car would be a good idea???

yum!!! i LOVE strawberries! and cb does, too! i think if we went strawberry picking, we'd come home with very little in our baskets because all the berries would be in our tummies!
Kyle loves strawberries too! How awesome that Parker helped you pick them. When we went to pick strawberries, Kyle just ate them while I did all the picking;-)
